Bangkok: Fleet Forum Announces Fleet Safety Workshop
Bangkok, Thailand… (22 January 2013) Fleet Forum announces that it will be holding a Fleet Safety Workshop in Bangkok, Thailand on 29 January. After the workshop, Fleet Forum together with the Humanitarian Logistics Association will also organise an informal, “pay as you go” networking event at the bar of the Novotel Impact Centre in Bangkok.
“This event will provide you as a participant with an excellent opportunity to unwind, meet fellow humanitarian logistics professionals, presenters and sponsors from AIDF and to expand your network,” comments Rose van Steijn, programme manager at Fleet Forum.
Founded in 2009 to support improvements in humanitarian logistics, the Humanitarian Logistics Association leads discussions to professionalise the sector; there are over 1,300 members in over 100 countries. HLA intends to grow the community of humanitarian logisticians working in the Asia-Pacific region.
Fleet Forum is a collaborative association that includes NGOs, international organisations, the United Nations, academic institutions, donors, and corporate partners. It is dedicated to the improvement of transportation performance in road safety, cost efficiency and environmental impact in order to save lives, save money, and save resources.
