Fleet Forum to bring Interactive Game to AIDF DC 2013
Road traffic crashes claim around 1,3 million lives every year and another 20 to 50 million people sustain serious injuries. The majority of these accidents occur in low and middle-income countries. The vast majority of the victims live in the world’s developing countries and the major emerging economies, where road traffic injuries are holding back progress towards the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
To raise awareness amongst decision makers, the international aid and development community and funding institutions for the road traffic injury epidemic Fleet Forum has developed ‘Crash Impact’. This highly interactive game shows participants how crashes impact their lives and on the communities they live in. Fleet Forum will conduct demonstrations of this new road safety game during the Aid & Development Forum (AIDF) in Washington in May.
