This one-day event is designed for aid and development organisations want to integrate fleet and road safety into their operations. Participants will learn to identify the root causes of road traffic accidents in their working environment and discover how a change in personal and organisational behaviour will reduce their risk of being involved in a road traffic accident. Added to this will be an increased awareness of the relation between fleet safety management and performance of the organisation, leading to both better safety and more efficient operation. As a result aid and development organisation managers will learn how to mitigate fleet risks caused by human factors and develop initiatives that the organisation can put in place.

The value of the Fleet Safety Management Workshop includes:

  • Increased insight in fleet safety performance
  • Increased insight in root causes and consequences of road traffic accidents
  • Opportunity to assess the organisations fleet safety status
  • Increased fleet safety management skills (analysing and interpreting data and implementing improvement action plans)

Details of the workshop programme and the location of the workshop will be shared in the following weeks. Please send your response to Rose van Steijn at Rose.van.Steijn@fleetforum.org by 10 May 2013 to make arrangements to attend this vital workshop.
