On 26 and 27 October 2006 the 4th annual Fleet Forum Conference took place in Amsterdam. More than 30 different humanitarian organisations were present as well as almost 15 representatives of the donor community, academia and commercial companies. Minutes and presentations can be found under 'useful documents'.

The Fleet Forum, a humanitarian inter-agency forum on fleet management, is a synergy engine which, by drawing input from all stakeholders, combines available recourses to the maximum effect. This is done by for example sharing good practices and initiating projects.

The theme of Fleet Forum 2006 is ‘responsible fleet operation'. Keynote speakers are Peter Bakker, CEO of TNT, Lars Gustavsson (vice president humanitarian and emergency affairs of WorldVision Int.), and Amer Daoudi (associate director of Transport and Procurement Division WFP). Topics on the agenda range from cleaner and safer to more efficient fleet management. Projects and case studies will be presented to trigger a call for action for more responsible fleet operation.

On 27 and 28 October 2005 the third annual Fleet Forum conference was held in Amsterdam. At the Fleet Forum Conference 2005 many common challenges were discussed, interesting ideas were shared and appropriate solutions designed. Main question answered is how do we get from great ideas for cooperation as well as huge potential savings into action? What areas of interest do we focus on, which stakeholders take the lead in this? Many good topics for discussion and an action list to get into as outcome. This action list is made into a Fleet Forum roadmap.
