Issue 2 Fleet Forum Direction Magazine Online Now 

The second issue of Direction magazine is out now.  With contributions from a range of organisations, the March issue covers topics including accountability in fleet operations, outsourcing, workshops, maintenance, and training.  Transport also gets a human face, when we highlight the realities of the healthcare plight of many staff operating along transport routes.  Download a copy or send a request to receive a hardcopy here. 

On 29-30 January 2008 the Fleet Forum will be presenting at this year's Aid + Trade conference in Geneva.  Fleet Forum Coordinator, Rob McConnell will be speaking on two panels on 29 January and will be available for meetings during the Meet the Buyers sessions.

During a morning workshop on Transportation Relief the Fleet Forum will be joined by Riders for Health to examine transport operational effectiveness and efficiency, with a special focus on accountability and fleet operations in challenging environments including emergencies.  Following this session, the Fleet Forum will be a part of an afternoon workshop, along with WFP and Muslim Aid, entitled Partnering for Relief, where the focus will be on optimising logistics.
