After 6 successful annual conferences, the Fleet Forum has responded to requests for events closer to field operations and is launching a regional conference in 2010 in Senegal. On 4 -5 May the Fleet Forum, in partnership with LASER International, United Nations Environmental Programme, North Star Alliance, Centre for Disease Control, UNECA, Senegalese Ministry of Communication, Transport, with the support of Ministry of Health, UEMOA and the UN Collaboration for Road Safety will hold a conference focused on Safe, Clean and Healthy Transport specific to the conditions in West Africa.
The event is designed to offer participants best practices in the areas of clean, safe and healthy transport, while working together to create sustainable solutions for effective transport operations. The event will also delve into the benefits of successful public-private partnerships, while reinforcing global commitments to road safety. More information about the event can be found here.
