Fleet Forum is delighted to announce that our Fleet Management Fundamentals training has been certified by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
CILT International is a membership organisation for professionals leading supply chain operations for the movement of goods and people. Recently, they certified our training as a Continuing Professional Development course (CPD).
CPD is essential part of personal and career development. Keeping our knowledge and skills up to date in today’s fast-changing world of work is vitally important, yet we often find it challenging to plan and systematically improve our own skills.
Fleet Forum is strongly committed to raising the profile of fleet management in low and middle-income countries and we understand that recognition of fleet management as a profession is critical. By certifying our programme through CILT, we want to encourage fleet managers and our member organisations to build their capacity, invest in their professional development and to employ qualified fleet managers.
Between April and September 2020, we have trained over 150 staff members through our Fleet Management Fundamentals training.
Staff who attend our trainings have the opportunity to secure two certificates:
· Certificate of Participation, for participating in the virtual training and demonstrating understanding of fleet management concepts. This is valued at 25 hours
· Certificate of Achievement, for applying fleet management concepts to the operating environment and demonstrating ability to make fleet improvements in a professional setting
These certificates will be jointly issued by CILT and Fleet Forum.
CILT is based in +30 countries. You can find out where their nearest CILT Branch is by going onto their global website at www.ciltinternational.org
