The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are very good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be in a Welthungerhilfe Country Office, preferably Liberia, Sierra Leone or Haiti.
Digitization is playing an increasingly important role in our project work. In this context, Welthungerhilfe is working intensively to standardize previously analog processes. The digital management of our many thousands of vehicles worldwide is an exciting step towards a more digital structure for Welthungerhilfe. We are starting the roll out of our new fleet management tool in three pilot countries - Haiti, Liberia and Sierra Leone with a plan for global roll out. The goal is to make Welthungerhilfe's work more efficient to help as many people as possible find a way out of poverty and hunger.

Your responsibilities
Contact person for all countries regarding new Fleet Management tools
Creation of a global rollout plan in coordination with the project team/manager
Conceptualization & creation of training content related to Fleet Management
Conduct training related to Fleet Management
Analysis of the collected global fleet data and implementation of improvements
Support in the planning & implementation phase of the Fleet Management process
Support in the development of the Fleet Management Policy/Manual
Your profile
A university or polytechnic degree in logistics or another relevant field
A minimum of 3 years work experience in Logistics (preferably Fleet Management) and/or setting up a software tool
Strong coordination and facilitation skills, as well as the ability to set up and conduct trainings
High level of empathy and enthusiasm and the ability to communicate technical requirements to those who are less digitally literate
Adaptability to different cultural contexts, as well as flexibility and diplomacy in tricky situations
Willingness to travel to different countries
Excellent spoken and written English
