New Fleet Forum President of the Board as of January 1st 2019.

Amsterdam, December 24, 2018 - Current President Bas Janssen, has decided to step down leading the Fleet Forum board as of January 1st, 2019. With an increased workload and minding the number of years while holding the position, Bas decided to look for a successor for the role.


We are happy to announce Kevin Furniss as the new President of Fleet Forum. Kevin has been engaged with Fleet Forum since 2011. He has always been a fan of the work of Fleet Forum and this has only increased since he joined the board of Fleet Forum in 2017 as a representative of Maersk. With his experience, entrepreneurial mindset and innovative ideas, Fleet Forum can build on the great work that has been done and bring the Fleet Forum to the next level.


Bas will remain to be engaged with Fleet Forum in the role of advisor. Under the leadership of Bas, since 2012, Fleet Forum has made huge step forward. From the Annual Conference, yearly trainings and consultancy assignments, to being the active community with ongoing activities throughout the year that fleet Forum is today. We are happy to have Bas stay on in the new role, to ensure the smooth transition.
