Press release date: June 21, 2021
Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings (TGS) will be hosting the 2021 Fleet Forum Annual Conference on June 22 and 23.
The 2021 event – the first ever virtual edition - will be attended by more than 650 delegates from 93 organisations and 114 countries, including technical experts and fleet managers who oversee thousands of vehicles in contexts of war, disaster and crises all over the world. It is a forum to share, challenge and inspire one another to go further, collaborate on identifying future solutions and tools, and continue to professionalise our work and demonstrate sector know-how and leadership.
“TGS is delighted to be the host sponsor of the Fleet Forum Annual Conference this year and continuing our relationship with Fleet Forum. It is fantastic that such an organisation exists that pulls together the many voices and opinions of the aid community to give one cohesive voice and sense of direction”— Kevin Jones TGS Group Executive Chairman
“This year as we gather around our theme, “The Road Ahead: Engage, Share & Learn”, together we will learn from what has been done in the recent past, to imagine new efficient practices and ideas to bring our organisations into the future.” said Paul Jansen, Executive Director of Fleet Forum.
Over 50% of this year’s conference sessions are dedicated to topics related to the greening of fleets. This is reflective of the sector’s growing commitment to sustainability as well as supporting changes in the external environment. A Steering Group, consisting of 14 Global and Country fleet representatives, guided the process of developing a comprehensive programme with interesting sessions for everyone who is attending this year’s conference. Vehicle Sharing, Electrification of Fleets, Benchmarking, and Fleet Optimisation are just some topics this year’s sessions will cover.
Fleet Forum members UPS and TSS are actively supporting Fleet Forum through sponsoring the 2021 Annual Conference. Borish, The Smallest Worldwide Film Agency, is supporting Fleet Forum as event partner in its first ever virtual conference.
The annual conference, hosted previously by organisations such as UPS, WFP, GOAL and Maersk, attracts leaders in their fields from aid and development organisations, the donor community, commercial organisations, academia, and the corporate sector. The two-day programme offers plenary and breakout sessions and much networking opportunities.
Fleet Forum is providing leadership to humanitarian and commercial transport fleets to save lives, cut costs, and protect the environment.
