Our Partners

Redefining mobility for the aid sector is a team effort. This transformation is an ongoing collective effort made possible by our project partners & donors.

OUR VALUE

The humanitarian sector is under growing pressure to deliver greater impact, improve cost-efficiency, and strengthen accountability.

While individual organisations have optimised their internal systems, systemic challenges in fleet and mobility require collective solutions. The greatest opportunity for transformation now lies at the network level.

Fleet Forum enables that transformation.

We convene humanitarian agencies, industry leaders, and technical experts to strengthen fleet and mobility management across the sector. By aligning standards, sharing data, driving innovation, and scaling best practice, we help unlock efficiencies that individual organisations cannot achieve alone.

Without coordinated reform in fleet and mobility systems, operational risk, rising costs, safety concerns, and environmental impact will continue to undermine humanitarian delivery.

Our partners and donors enable us to accelerate this sector-wide change.

Through our four strategic pillars, we deliver measurable outcomes, read more below!

WHAT WE DO

With the help of our partners and donors we improve fleet management practices in organisations. Our activities are designed to build and influence best practices across the sector. By prioritising innovation and active member engagement, we transform how the humanitarian community moves.

Convening & Knowledge Sharing

We create trusted spaces for humanitarian agencies, donors, and the private sector to collaborate.

From our Annual Conference to tailored one-to-one support, we track measurable progress against shared global goals.

Digital Tooling & Evidence

Data is the backbone of better decisions. We maintain a robust repository of tools for:

  • Data Collection & Benchmarking

  • Fleet Right-Sizing

  • Total Cost Visibility

We enable evidence-based management that extends beyond individual silos.

Localisation & Innovation Labs

We don’t just design solutions; we embed them where they are needed most.

  • Fleet Futures Lab: An innovative workshop where we co-design context-specific solutions with key stakeholders from UN agencies, INGOs, local NGOs and private sector representatives.

  • Transformation to Mobility:
A disruptive innovation program shifting the paradigm from "fleet management" to "mobility management," strengthening local capacity and thought leadership.

Support from the United States Department of State (formerly United States Agency for International Development) has enabled a wide range of initiatives aimed at professionalising the sector, including global training programmes, webinars, and research that help organisations improve how they manage transport operations.

In collaboration with European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations, we have developed practical tools and innovative approaches to mobility. This includes the Environmental Assessment Tool and pioneering ride- and vehicle-sharing initiatives delivered in partnership with Hulo.

Early support from the UPS Foundation helped establish several cornerstone initiatives, including the Fleet Forum Benchmarks, the Best Transport Achievement Awards, the Fleet Manager of the Year Award, and the Fleet Forum Knowledge Platform resources that continue to help organisations measure performance, share knowledge, and recognise excellence.

Together, these collaborations are helping build a more efficient, sustainable, and professional humanitarian mobility sector.
